About the Henweigh Cafe owners Lois Nielsen Henweigh Cafe co-owner/Restaurant Manager Lois Nielsen has long held a passion for creative cooking and entertaining. Inspired by her Chicago roots and later, San Francisco's vast diversity in culinary arts, Lois has honed a portfolio of recipes that family and friends always encouraged her to share with the world in her own restaurant. Lois adds an extensive background in the retail industry to round out her personal flare for creating loyal and trusted customer relationships. Dennis Kelly Henweigh Cafe co-owner/General Manager Dennis Kelly began a career in restaurants back in his college days working for more than six years in restaurant and banquet operations for a large hotel chain. Now, following a high tech marketing career that spanned more than two decades, Dennis returns to the industry he loves with excitement, energy and a desire to make Henweigh a valued part of Sebastopol and the surrounding community. Although Dennis has lived in California for more than 13 years, he has kept his Boston accent, his loyalty to the Boston Red Sox and a New England Clam Chowder recipe (that you're sure to see in the winter months) that is second to none. |
